The Debate – Aleppo Ceasefire

Politicizing humanitarianism seems to be more and more the way of the world. Nowhere is this more evident than in Syria. For five years, the Syrian people and government have been fighting terrorists who have come from around the world and there was no call for investigating war crimes committed by terrorists against the Syrian people. Even though crimes such as beheadings, using people as human shields, raping and torture of civilians have taken place, it appears the United Nations did not deem these crimes worthy of being looked into as possible war crimes. When will the situation in Syria really be looked at from a humanitarian perspective and end the suffering of the Syrian people?
