The Debate: Battle for Aleppo

Russia says more than 80-thousand civilians now have access to humanitarian aid in eastern Aleppo following the recent advances made by the Syrian army. Russia also noted that half of the militant-held territory in the city has been completely liberated, with many reports indicating it’s just a matter of time before the army takes over Eastern Aleppo. In this edition of the debate, we’ll look at why since Russia and the US broke off talks on Syria, there have been advances made both on the humanitarian side and on Eastern Aleppo being freed from the terrorists.
