At least 14 Black and Latino teenage girls have gone missing in the US capital Washington DC in just two weeks. The missing girls were mostly between the ages of 13 and 15. The DC Metropolitan Police Department has launched a probe into the case that has sparked a wave of outcry on social media. The fate of the missing teenagers is still not clear. Meanwhile, members of the Congressional Black Caucus have asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director James Comey to launch a federal investigation into the issue. The US is already dealing with a large number of missing children cases. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, over 500 cases of missing children have been recorded this year alone.
