Syrian govt forces recapture northern Hama countryside
Syrian Arab Army (SAA) fighters reportedly recaptured the village of Maardis in northern Hama on Monday, after several hours of heavy fighting. Government forces reportedly targeted militants belonging to the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham positions in the village. The village was captured by militants during a counter-offensive in the Northern Hama Plain last week.
RAW: Airbase near ISIS stronghold captured by SDF
The predominantly Kurdish force SDF has published footage taken at Tabqa Airbase, north of Raqqa, Syria. The military facility was captured from Islamic State terrorist group, which seized it from the Syrian Army in 2014.
