“Difficult conversations needed with Saudi Arabia”

Britain’s opposition leader has urged the UK to hold what he called difficult conversations with Saudi Arabia following London’s terror attack. Jeremy Corbyn said the talks should start with Saudis and other Persian Gulf states that have funded and fueled QUOTE extremist ideology. Earlier, Prime Minister Theresa May demanded a stronger response to extremism after the attack took place on London Bridge. Saudi Arabia and some other Arab monarchies of the Persian Gulf region stand accused of funding and arming terror groups, particularly Daesh (ISIS). Apart from its atrocities in the Middle East, the group has so far carried out deadly terror attacks in some European countries.

Diplomatic Spat: Several Gulf States cut ties with Qatar for allegedly ‘supporting terrorism’

The Middle East has descended into a huge diplomatic row. Four Gulf countries: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE have severed diplomatic ties with Qatar. While Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have also closed their borders with the country. They accuse Doha of supporting terrorism and interfering in the internal affairs of Arab states.
